      ... in the Finnair lounge which is quite good but always very busy. A very nice range of food, mainly salads but good variety.

      After a smooth flight we arrived at Heathrow about 30 minutes late. I was expecting to be late home but I easily caught a Heathrow Express and just caught the 1940 from St Pancras getting me home when I expected and, in fact less than 2 hours from the wheels of the plane touching down on the runway.

      ... we made our way around, booth by booth, we came across one of the food vendors. Pulled pork, sausage, sauerkraut...yes please. So, there we were with a plate of meat, a pint of beer, and a few hundred happy Finns waiting for the hockey game versus Czechoslovakia to start on the television set up in another booth. Once it started, we were no longer tourists, but part of the frenzied crowd cheering on Finland to victory. Why...this calls for more ...
