    We spent a few hours in Helsinki the next day. A nice waterfront area around the old cobblestoned market square. There was a lot of market stalls, selling souvenirs and food. There were several cruise ships tied up as well so there were a lot of people about.

Looking for a coffee shop we found the covered market, actually full of busy city people taking lunch and a superb range to fish for sale.     ... we made our way around, booth by booth, we came across one of the food vendors. Pulled pork, sausage, sauerkraut...yes please. So, there we were with a plate of meat, a pint of beer, and a few hundred happy Finns waiting for the hockey game versus Czechoslovakia to start on the television set up in another booth. Once it started, we were no longer tourists, but part of the frenzied crowd cheering on Finland to victory. Why...this calls for more ...
