      ... tables set up with a conglomeration of items ,old books open, jewellery, mannequin heads, and dirty tea cups to name a few. As one moved around the room various recordings spoke! I failed completely to see this as art. Experiential it may have been but I like my art more explicit.
      There was little if any indigenous art so wended my way to the Bill Reid gallery where I was heartened to see the carvings ,jewellery and metalwork using native imagery.
      Returned in time to fly ...

      ... got made to walk the plank but got out of it by doing a pirate dance for the whole boat. Very embarrassing, very pleased I didn't know anyone, or that the were no hot pirates or mermen. The map and treasure were found and beano got to fire the water cannon at the naughty pirate. Beano got loads of gold and treasure from the treasure box pulled from the sea. What a fab afternoon.       So much has happened in the last 2 weeks. We have found ourselves a small 1 bedroom apartment right in the heart of downtown Vancouver. We move in on the 1st July and can't wait.       ... came, Soti's daughter and her husband, with their daughter Natalea. Christina was also a week overdue and was expecting a little girl anytime! They were all lovely, Natalea got used to us after a while and played ball with Phil. It felt really nice to be around family.

      The food arrived shortly after Christina arrived, there was lots! First we had sausage, then there was chicken wings & legs, rice, salad, lemon potatoes, tzatziki and appetizers too!! ...

      ... shop, nice but after a big lunch??? We stopped just up the road for a photo opportunity with a carved Sasquatch. Off again and after a brief pit stop we got to the Little Straw Winery. Nice white wines, average reds but amazing Ice Wine. We even got a complimentary bottle to take with us. I bet that won't last more than a day or so! Then to our hotel for the night.
