    ... tables set up with a conglomeration of items ,old books open, jewellery, mannequin heads, and dirty tea cups to name a few. As one moved around the room various recordings spoke! I failed completely to see this as art. Experiential it may have been but I like my art more explicit.
    There was little if any indigenous art so wended my way to the Bill Reid gallery where I was heartened to see the carvings ,jewellery and metalwork using native imagery.
    Returned in time to fly ...

    ... city has a really nice feel about it. In Gastown we also come across a working Steam Clock. Took some photos and a video recording to show James. Not sure if he would have heard of it or not. We also went into some art galleries to look at some of the art work of the First Nations and Inuit peoples including the Haida Gwaii.
