Feels so much like home, but we hear the weather has been still really warm at home. Lucky you – it looks like rain in headed our way the next few days! Oh well, now that we are back in civilization, there’s always shopping! And, now that I have ...

... What are the thumps? Turns out that they are pine seeds dropping from the ripe cones. Third night, drip, Drip, DRIP! Thump, THump, THUMP!

Anyway, S.M. Pines is spacious enough with actual mature pine trees dispersed around the campground. Sparse, unwatered grass between the campsites. Soil= sand. When dry, clean camp; when wet, sand is tracked everywhere! Might as well be camping on the beach.
