Well we crossed into Wyoming...welcome to Cheynne.

The snow is coming down, 18 degrees, already have 2 inches and more coming down. We are stranded argh!

Total by morning 11 inches, I-80 and I-25 are closed. Finally found a room around 2am. We only moved at abou 25-30 mph on the interstate before we got off the road.

I admit it, today I did not take the scenic route. I stayed on the Interstate the entire day. And ate fast-food too.

Were going to see a few more places in Wyoming, on the east side of the state, then make it to the Badlands and Mt. Rushmore of South Dakota.

... of Wyoming: Yellowstone National Park, fishing, the cattle industry, mining, archeology, the railroad, farming, etc. When we walked by the governor's office, the door to the office and the interior office both stood wide open, giving our whole experience there a very open-spirited feeling. We didn't notice this as much at the time but were reminded of it later in Denver where we had to pass through a metal detector to get in ...

... a town, a general store, train ride around the park to see the buffalo, restaurant and saloon. The RV Park is next to I-25 so very noisy and not one of the best kept ones we have stayed in. We shall see what there is to see in Cheyenne.

Monday morning finds us being lazy. Late in the afternoon, we drive into Cheyenne to see the city. It is the capital of Wyoming. The downtown area has many, many old buildings ...

... others talked or wrote in their journals until dinner crew finished cooking hamburgers and hot dogs. We ate dinner and helped ourselves to leftover pudding. Then Ms. Stiglic and Bro. Nigel lead the reflection prayer with an Indian prayer about all being one people with one Spirit, a song titled "Deliver Me From Me", and a responsorial.
