... I think this area would be interesting to spend some time touring. About 70 miles north of this area is Redbud, Illinois where my great grandfather Krienhop was born in 1875. This was Grandma Krahn's father. We came back to Cape Girardeau and ate some crawfish ettoufe at Broussard's Cajun Restaurant. It was delicious! We are now back at the camper and deciding where to go from ...

We left Carlock this morning and drove through light showers. The skies stayed blue all day, but the fall colors are still very nice. We arrived at Cape Girardeau, Mo and are staying at Cape Camping and RV Park. We are hoping for clear skies tomorrow. The farmers are all having to wait with their equipment in the fields for dryer weather before they can start combing again. We drove by the Arch in St Louis (Gateway to the West). We have really been enjoying these COE Parks - $12/night for full hookups is hard to beat! Just a couple days' stop here, catching up on laundry and shopping before we head for our friends' Gary & Kathy's house near St. Louis on Thursday.

... br> Compared with yesterday it's a cinch of a day. At dinner we meet 2 newcomers, Dana who did most of the trip in 2010 but was brought down by a fellow rider and broke her elbow and wrist. She has come back with a friend, Sarah, to complete the trip. It's great to have some female company again.

There is talk of a tornado tomorrow. And we thought the weather was crazy in England.
