Church this morning was at First
Baptist Church in Trenton. The church people made us feel right at

After leaving Niagara i headed to London... just because!! then followed the roads up the coastal roads following the Lakes. Past Lake Erie, Lake Huron and Georgian Bay to the Town of Barrie.
Again lovely weather... oh and note self.. just because A Town name has "Beach" in the title doesn't mean it has a nice beach!!
Great couple of days driving.
On to Kingston.
... rye flour; which I find hard to find in the grocery stores out here. You can also get farm eggs from a fridge in the back.
There was another store on the property that looked like a country store selling local meats & cheeses and grocery items, but this was closed on Sunday. Just as well, I have a lot baking to do!
... having tons of fun. Had an amazing lunch at the hotel and we are now warming up on the chalet. My boys are doing a rubik's cube puzzle....the most difficult one we could find!!
Tonight we are walking to the Old Homestead restaurant for dinner and tomorrow we need to get up on time dog sledding starts at 9:30am sharp!!
Missing you all...two more sleeps at the Ice Hotel and then down to Malmo for the tournament!!
That's what folks from Michigan's Upper Peninsula (the U.P.) call themselves...Yoopers. Where Wisconsin is bucolic and pastoral, the UP is rough and wild. This is Hemmingway country, Nick Adams and the Big Two-Hearted River (some of the only Hemmingway stories I ever really liked). The electronic safety signs don't tell me to 'Buckle Up', rather they warn 'Don't Veer for Deer!' Driving north from Green Bay I drove right out of fall and into early winter. Fall ...
