... didn't disappoint - this is one building that successfully carries the theme inside. We were only in the right place at the right time for one or two of the free shows - we missed the volcano at the Mirage again! For the most part, I will let the pictures speak for themselves. We must have walked at least 10 miles and crawled onto the return shuttle at 9:30.

... It was really fun, Freemont street is the original strip but it is enclosed & the roof has a giant LED screen that goes for about 3 blocks. Every hour they turn off all of the casino lights & put a show on the roof. It was really cool. There are bands playing all along the street & heaps of people, it´s a very lively place. We spent some time in a bar with a good view of the "strip" & funnily enough we moved onto a casino. It was great to catch up with Zsofi & John ...

... and patterns once an hour. Next was the Pirate show at Treaure Island, where life sized ships sail around the hotel while shooting fireworks and the crew sing and dance. Really cool and heaps of cool effects! Then we went on to the Mirage where a huge volcanic eruption happens every hour, massive fireballs and smoke and cool music lights up the sky! ... Dies war natürlich ein schönes Kompliment, da wir am College ständig unsere amerikanische Aussprache üben musste. Am nächsten Tag sonnten wir uns am hoteleigenen Pool und genossen ein Dinner on top unseres Hotel mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf Las Vegas. Das Restaurant war ein Drehrestaurant, somit konnten wir Las Vegas von allen Seiten sehen. Nach dem feinen Dinner stylten wir uns und wollten endlich einen der berühmten Nightclubs ...

... waarom niet...het bleek ehoorlijk populair te zijn. We moesten zo'n 20 minuten in de rij staan, maar goed we waren nu wel nieuwsgierig. De prijs was wel iets 'normaler', maar ondanks dat het een 'vreetschuur' was natuurlijk werd je keurig naar een tafel gebracht. Het buffet zelf was echter weer a-la-Bellagio. Well, I am going to Israel in 15 days. Have'nt been there in 3 years. I am pretty damn excited. But I still can't fully get it that im going so soon. I bought the ticket so quick... I found a great deal online for a round trip ticket. I was scared they would change the price any second, so I bought it. So now i'm home.. "home". home, yes it's home with my family, but this city is not my home. My flight leaves from LAX on Feb 18. so... see you soon L.A.!
