... blaze with yellows and gold. The next town we went through was Pagosa Springs which is famous for hot springs there. We did not stop since we still had a long way to go. So after, we started to ascend the 10857ft Wolf Creek Pass. This pass is a steep 6.8% maximum grade on both sides. Near the top, it started snowing! ... AZ over the Colorado River. We saw some rafters beginning their trip down the river through the Grand Canyon. After crossing the Colorado River, we went up into the mountains. Very beautiful views, but curvy drive. Got to the Campground at North rim around 3:00 Arizona time. Camp site 34 is great......wooded view.... Up very early for flight from Jackson to DFW then home. Girls are getting dropped off in St Louis at their Dad's then Charley is home to Dublin. Hopefully their travel will be ok. Delta is trying to make it diff. Some tears shed and the Memo wave at the airport. Great vacation and perfect family to travel with. I am a very blessed man. We made it home safe.
