    ... we had no waiting just straight through to drop off bags. Gave him a tip. Some problem with maintenance on plane. Then when we boarded we had to wait for a log book to do with the maintenance so we were an hour late leaving. Arrived Manchester around 7am. Outside airport around 8.15 rang for a shuttle bus to hotel gnna be half hour. Left for Scunthorpe after nine and got lost at first but arrived home by 11am. Went to bed and slept until ...

    ... to begin - guess who was first in line? Total distance to the Ferry Terminal from home - 592km (8 hours).

    The Lake Express Ferry travels at fairly high-speed (approx. 60kph) and yet it still takes 2.5 hrs. to cross Lake Michigan. There were about a dozen other bikes on the ferry and a full complement of cars. One of the other bikers waiting for the ferry works for Harley Davidson (nice gig as he gets to ride his bike ...

    After dinner, we continued our walk on the River Walk, saw cruise boats and the Fonz!

    And, of course, this is the place where Pabst started and the home of Miller Brewing! Lots of Miller and Pabst signs. And, we drove past the original home of Frederick Pabst. Wonderful old, well-maintained homes here in Milwaukee.

    Tim and I couldn't be more excited. After saying a sad farewell to our families we stopped in Milwaukee to see Gina and Zach and got some local Milwaukee fare. Preparing to leave tomorrow. Tim is concerned about the .4 lbs over I am on my luggage. Really being a huge pain in my ASS! :)

    We are excited and can't wait for this new chapter in our lives!

    ... car parks only instead of champagne and chicken, here they bring tables, chairs, even BBQs, games etc and make a whole day of it. The game was great to watch: cheerleaders, crowd involvement, fireworks or hone runs, people in giant sausage suits having a race, There were a few seats left with spectators numbering just over 37,000.
