There are nearly as many aircraft at the EAA Airventure at the same time as there are in the whole of Australia! They come in all shapes and sizes - from microlights to an Airbus A350 and a B52 bomber. Lots of people fly in and camp with their planes. We parked in Camp Scholler, a massive camping area, nearly full, with reportedly up to 30,000 RVs plus tents.

The big day! We needed to clear customs/immigration into the USA. Our first flight took all of six minutes from one side of the river to the other.
