The stars were the kids in the show - just amazing, I could definitely recognise Tim Minchins writing :-) Also quite cool to see 'T I M' on the blocks of the set. Subtle but cool. Great show :-) Just loving New York, such a cool city, so much to do, so much history, such great people. Love it. Never want to leave! How have we left it 4 years to return to the ...

They had just before been to the cinema so probably needed to let off steam and go crazy because it was so noiesy. We head towards Greenwich Village taking the subway because our feet just wont do the mileage anymore. As we come out of the subway, there are 3 black guts and three white guys playing basketball in a court in the corner of the street, it's 2pm in the day. In the back courts there are some kids ...

... search of a new all American diner where we could get a hearty breakfast to start us off just right. Vaughan is being decidedly healthier than me at this point and went for boring old oats while I ordered the tallest stack of blueberry pancakes slathered in maple syrup and cheap as butter. Washed down with a cappuccino and we were ready to hit the roads.

On the map Manhattan does not look very big and we thought a nice leisurely stroll would see us ...

... was doing another traffic survey...) A trip Google Maps thought would take just under 4 hours ended up taking 7 and a half hours. Of course, they always say "without traffic," but when are these roads without traffic, especially in summer?

It turns out Maryland House does not have a Starbucks, so we stopped at the first service area on the New Jersey Turnpike. Big mistake. Apparently a bus ...
