Day 24 - Friday 24th August This morning we walked just across the road from our hotel to Turner Field stadium...the 1996 Olympic Stadium, which has now been converted into a baseball stadium for the Atlanta Braves. We went on an hour-long tour; we got to see the museum, the top of the stands, then we went all the way down to the club level - where people who pay thousands of dollars a season go to watch ...

Earlier in the night I grabbed a gyro from a pita joint where I sat and ate as I listened to Russian guy declare to his company that he spoke Russian, Spanish, Portuguese and English. At one point they mentioned "Homeless" Joe and one white girl hadn't heard of him. I interjected, "I've been here an hour and I know who "Homeless" Joe is!" She joked back and they continued on.
