Falls and headed out on the trail for our last waterfall of the weekend. The trail is about 2.2 miles one way and
moderate. There is a kiosk at the
trailhead with a map as well as maps at the two intersections with other
trails, so it would be hard to get lost.
... the woods and get behind the falls, but we decided against it. We just hung out here for a while, had a snack and enjoyed the view before making our way back. Justine and the others continued on to see High Falls and Triple Falls, but Sandy and I were getting tired and had already seen these falls so we decided to make our way back home after another waterfall-tastic ...
Not much more needs to be said.
Regardless of how it ended, it was a great trip while it lasted! I crossed the Atlantic for the first time; rented a tux for what had better be the last time; saw good friends; met some neat people; drank some great wine; ate some wonderful meals (and some not so wonderful); rode a lot of neat trains; and saw some fantastic scenery.
Along the way, I collected Monaco, Liechtenstein, ...
... by a mysterious bug (or plant).
We continued down 100/41 to the beautiful town of White Springs. We stopped at a wayside park on the historic and scenic Suwanee River.
We cruised on through Georgia and made it to Anderson in time for dinner. Thanks to Steve we had an amazing lasagna dinner.
Tomorrow we start our journey.
Today we did a mini road trip to Greenville in South Carolina. It took about 2 hours to drive to Greenville and I am glad we did it.
The combination of being able to do a roadtrip and also being able to spend the day in another state was amazing.
