Perfect place to stay if you are going on a cruise or boarding a ferry we were up graded to a room with fantactic views of Genoa and the hardbour. The room had every thing you could wish for and the staff were very accomodating and helpful. The best room we have had on this trip so far.

We are at sea today writing this portion of the blog as we head for Casablanca, Morocco on the northwest coast of Africa. Savona was a surprisingly delightful Italian port city. No breakfast in tariff but still full after dinner. Went to local bar for cappuccino and cornetto. Friendly little place. Staff started preparing locals regular coffee as they walked in the door 4.20€ for 2 cups and a cornetto- good value. Not far to travel so went to Royal Palace which is museum on second floor.
