Perfect place to stay if you are going on a cruise or boarding a ferry we were up graded to a room with fantactic views of Genoa and the hardbour. The room had every thing you could wish for and the staff were very accomodating and helpful. The best room we have had on this trip so far.

Carbon copy repeat of a previous experience trying to sail into Portofino - rough seas meant it was too dangerous to tender ashore, so instead we docked in Genoa.
Having explored the city on that last visit, we chose to still take a shore excursion to visit the picturesque towns of Sestri Levante & Rapallo

... I would stay for the night as the yacht had to sail to a different town for the day. I was so tired I didn't even care. Looking back, it was a bit sketch. Oops. I got to the hotel, exhausted, but me being who I am did not allow sleep when I had authentic Italian food at my fingertips.
