    ... feels like Montmartre - quaint, incredibly picturesque, steeply lined with ateliers and small cafes. Then cross town, climb the hill to le Cours Julien and you are in the East Village circa 1995: graffiti everywhere, gangs of teenagers sitting around on the ground with skateboards and dogs, crowded cafes, scruffy playgrounds.     Mary our guide met us at the port for a day travelling through the French countryside. First stop Aix En Provence. We walked through the markets and ate nougat. We then went onto Marseilles.     Today was not a good day for walking around town. It was pouring down and it felt soooo cold. The day was: going out, getting supplies and coming back to the ship.
