Early start as had long drive from Bloemfontein to Addo today. After filling up with petrol we took the N1 southwest towards Colesburg.
Stopped for a drink and break at Colesburg then onwards via N9. Long empty roads with numerous roadworks and contra flows. We feel all the roads in South Africa are being repaired at the same time!

There is also a diamond vault to view different sizes, shapes and colours of diamond including the "Eureka", the first diamond found in Kimberley. There are replicas of other notable diamonds including the Cullinan 1, the original being part of the British Crown Jewels.
A little shopping was done, but no diamonds!
