This was my first trip out with my new job. I was observing or shadowning a consultant as she delivered staff development to the special ed dept. of Gahanna schools. This was a beautiful school system in the suburbs of Columbus.
... saying with a strong Norwegian accent followed by "Big Summer Blowout". Although the hostel may not be Frozen themed, it does show the Sound of Music every night... which we will be attending (twice, once in our goat costumes).

We got here at 1:30 and I was watching spider wick. In spiderwick a boy finds a weird little goblin thing and a book and he needs to protect it from balroth the ogre and they find arthur spiderwick the creater of the book so he needs to desroy it then he doesn't want too so they have to on their own and they don't destroy it but then his friend eats the ogre when it's in it's bird form. ... Grandma and Grandpa were relieved to see we made it on time and thrilled we brought them food and milkshakes. Unfortunately, in the scramble Mom managed to buy everyone food except herself! Of course we all shared with her.
We definitely didn't go hungry on this flight. In 7 and a half hours they fed us 4 times. First was pretzels and peanuts, then lunch (I had the vegetarian option- mushroom pasta in a cream sauce with a greek salad, a bread ...
... miles fairly stressful for Steve, the traffic increased and seemed to go faster, knowing which exit or entry to take, unlike us as we hoped we could change lanes if necessary without incident.
Once we arrived at our hotel we were able to enjoy a cup of tea as we watched the last day of the golf and the outcome. We also had a call from Ian and Alice updating us with their news from Norwich.
We had arrived in Chicago..
