... I return, I can bring home books, periodicals, paintings, sculptures, artifacts, art, records or tapes but I cannot bring cigars, local rum, coffee, or general “shopping” merchandise of any kind.

Cuban medical insurance is included in the price we paid for our mission. It covers 100% of medical expenses up to $25,000. It is recommended that we drink only bottled water and that we avoid ice cubes made with local tap water. Food safety here is ...

... It takes only one minute for the RCI employee to check us in, and to give us our boarding cards ( which will serve for everything on the ship).

After that, she takes our picture, for facial recognition, and we can go our own way. First, we pose for the famous boarding picture.

At 11.30 AM, we are already on the gangway, how more efficient can you be ? Way to go RCI !!

The excitement is building, and soon enough, we set foot on the ship, that's it !! The dream ...

... that I cannot name them all.... I find a pretty carribean dress at Tommy Bahama's, a cute but cheap skirt at Desigual, 3 nice cardigans at Ann Taylor's, and some things I probably do not remember....

At 11.20 AM, we start to get a little tired, our feet hurt some also, and we're getting hungry. Breakfast, which consisted of our complimentary chocolate chip cookies (yummy by the way) , is already a far memory.

So yes, it is high time that we ...
