... 5 PM and were pleasantly surprised when the hotel clerk gave us an upgraded room…actually 2 rooms, one a typical hotel room and the adjoining room made up as a living room. Very comfortable!! We have managed to make it to the Elite Status with La Quinta and are enjoying the benefits of our loyalty.

Tomorrow, Madison WI. Hey, Rudy, if you are reading this, we finally took your advice and plan to spend a day near your old alma mater. ...

8th- 9th July So yesterday we drove out of Niagara Falls, we drove through a small section of Pennsylvania and then entered Ohio, taking the state count this visit to 4. We spent most of the drive driving along the edge of Lake Erie. It is amazing how big it is, you cannot even see the far shore. At times it's more than 100 miles wide, and it's only the 4th largest of the Great Lakes. At ...

... full 6x12 foot trailer from front to back and top to bottom… plus a completely full F-150 and a full Pontiac G6. We also ended up going back to West Virginia one more time for the rest of our stuff. The main reason was to visit and attend a close friends wedding… but we still had a full back seat on the drive back to northwest Ohio. Therefore, the room I grew up in has turned into a storage unit as well as part of my parents barn.

10:12am We were up at 5 today but couldn't start driving until 8. There was a rooster crowing in the neighborhood that we parked in. He started crowing his little brains out at like 1am....he was still crowing when we left. Sublimely annoying! On the plus side, pilot has gooood coffee and I got a breakfast sandwich with halepenos! if you know me at all, then you know that breakfast sandwiches are one of my favorite foods.....fresh raspberries being my absolute ...
