      ... you need people to come and consider a stroll and a shop on Main Street as a fun thing to do.
      There's a farmer's market going on--complete with a live country singer playing for tips. Frederick feels a bit out of the "Bible Belt" not as many churches crammed in here. But the ones that are here are quite impressive, with their towering spires. I parked my car 22 kms away, and now I'm kind of regretting that... if I hadn't parked so far away I could spend ...

      Seriously in most of my photos to date in this blog I have either had helmet hair, hat hair, and in this photo - head massage hair - honesty there's no point using a hair dryer when I can get my hands on one, because it is so humid here, I'm over it:-)

      ... Jimmy Carter attempted, although it worked temporarily, an agreement in the middle of fire isn’t necessarily the most helpful option. It is a possibility that the situation may cool down, and if so, then would be the time to make a fresh attempt at negotiation. We hope to see something like this in the future!

      ... forgot we would have to improvise. One thing we couldnt prepare for though. Air France.

      On the way through security we had some hiccups, albeit humorous ones. While waiting in line to be approved by TSA to enter the security screen area we must have swapped passports. Beth was the first to go through and the guard with no humor in his voice said "this isn't you"...we both blanched white fearing we had picked up the wrong ...

      ... in tagalog and in the end....the guy tells me that i'll be even happier with the room rate...... it'll be $84 with tax! FROM $129!!!! Do i have pull with my peeps or what???

      vacation has started off on the right foot so far.

      great room rate, some cocktails in the room, and a nice 3-4 hr sleep before we trek south.

      looking forward to it very much.
