... you need people to come and consider a stroll and a shop on Main Street as a fun thing to do.
There's a farmer's market going on--complete with a live country singer playing for tips. Frederick feels a bit out of the "Bible Belt" not as many churches crammed in here. But the ones that are here are quite impressive, with their towering spires. I parked my car 22 kms away, and now I'm kind of regretting that... if I hadn't parked so far away I could spend ...

... realistic dreams. So realistic, in fact, that when I would wake up out of them after a few minutes I would expect to see the dream setting, and then get disappointed that I was still on the airplane. ... Jimmy Carter attempted, although it worked temporarily, an agreement in the middle of fire isn’t necessarily the most helpful option. It is a possibility that the situation may cool down, and if so, then would be the time to make a fresh attempt at negotiation. We hope to see something like this in the future!

... or could use. This meant something like 19 bags of clothes and supplies to the Salvation Army. Joel even went through all his tools. It was nice to focus and realize that our happiness did not lie in our possessions rather those few possessions we kept reminded us of a loved one or a time and place where we had been.

It is funny how going overseas always makes you appreciate the things you've got here. I give thanks to the Lord ...
