    ... Usually on Sunday mornings Main Streets are pretty dead. People are either sitting at home, heading to the nearest Walmart or taking their kids to the park. But here, Main Street is the place to be.
    It's a heartwarming feeling. I wonder, are these locals, or maybe folks from DC taking a day away from the big city? I'm not sure. It is a reminder, that for American Main Streets to stay alive, you need more than government funding and tax breaks ...

    ... AArrgghh!!!
    I hurried to a travel agency, had a flight booked from Portland to Vancouver (thank you credit card!), hurried back to the desk with that ticket, and yes, I was allowed to proceed. Ouf!

    Arriving at Dulles airport, after 1:30 hr standing in the line for immigration, and another 30 min in the line for customs... the usual stuff when entering the USA ;-)
