... his influence on current events, the exhibit features documentary films, historic footage, hundreds of photographs, and artifacts. Two areas that appear as they did on November 22, 1963, highlight the exhibit: the sniper's perch and the staircase area where the sniper exited the sixth floor and a rifle was found. Also on display are cameras used in Deadley Plaza on that fateful day and a scale model of Deadley Plaza created by the FBI for use by the Warren Commission.
Arlington, Texas, United States socksIn 2009, the Dallas Cowboy football stadium moved from Irving, Texas to Arlington, Texas. The stadium's 1,290 foot steel arches are the most recognizable feature on the Arlington horizon. This Stadium is now the largest in the NFL. It features a retractable roof, two 63,000 square foot panels which can be opened or closed in just 12 minutes and the largest Trinitron in the NFL. The stadium has a seating capacity of 80,000 for ...
Arlington, Texas, United States socksOur worse day of travel so far. Started out in Oklahoma City with light rain - a straight shot south on I-35 into Ft Worth, Texas. On our way we encounted heavy rain and high winds. We counted at least 5 major accidents, cars and tractor trailers were all over the highway both in the median and off the edge of the road. Our total average speed was 45 MPH. Our drive was suppose to be a 3 hr drive; it took us 5 hrs.

I chose to do nothing because really, there is nothing to be done. Once again, this is not a sad statement, but one of liberation. When life has your neurosis up in arms again, when your nose is to the wall, when you see no path ahead, fear not. Instead, this is a wonderful opportunity for us to discover a gentler way. An opportunity to discover life.
Fort Worth, Texas, United States zmarv... other than it is flat. However, even this sparsely vegetated plain does have a few attractions. About 30 miles west of Odessa, you’ll find Monahans Sandhills State Park with almost 4,000 acres of sand dunes. The area was first discovered by Spanish explorers 400 years ago and now offers camping and other activities, including sand surfing. Texas Camel Treks are also held at the park. Yes, I said camels. Secretary of War, Jeff ...

Jerry's toast was poignant and funny, and Kathy's was downright hilarious, a bubbly Texan in a short black and gold dress, plump, reveling in it all.

And so the day ends... It was another hot day (90's), we drove endless miles of freeway, saw big box stores of every description (Texans must think they have so much space they can plop down a big box any old place). We had breakfast with ...
Fort Worth, Texas, United States lrandalWe are here on the plains of Texas--or that's what it looks like: flat, stretching for as far as the eye can see. Getting here went smoothly, the young woman sitting next to me on the plane was flying on to Dallas for a meeting of Mary Kay cosmetics finance staff. And I think Ft. Worth seems foreign! The lady had on not a lick of make-up (not sales staff) but a long list of duty-free handbags to buy for ...

Southlake, Texas, United States maverickranger... because of traffic that we were dreading the drive. So, I didn't want to love the hotel and regret staying so far out. We had originally book a hotel called the Brittania. It was one of the less expensive hotels, located near the Termini. The book said it wasn't a dangerous area but less of an attractive area. Can I say this? OMG! There was a homeless person 10 feet from the door of the hotel. We went in the hotel and it actually was nice but I ...
