We started our day in Fort Worth at a nature reserve. We parked up at the visitors centre and started with a 1 mile walk. We immediately came across a couple of large spiders and heaps of different coloured dragonflies. Sam wasn't keen on the walk after seeing the spiders and knowing there might be snakes around. The walk itself was nice though. We came across 'Prairie Dog Town' which at the time we could only see about four of them from the fence ...
... for dinner and ate at the Cattlemen's Fort Worth Steak House. This was the type of steak house we were looking for back in College Station. Peg had the T-bone with mushrooms and baked potato; I had the bone in Rib-Eye steak and backed potato. Wonderful food and service. This restaurant has been there since 1947.
Peg was disappointed the jewelry store across the street from the restaurant was closed by the time we finished dinner. I had not even seen it but she obviously ...
... electric for the air conditioning, and put Tex in the camper so we could take off. Peg wanted to get her nails done and a pedicure while I needed a haircut. We got these done, mine very shortly, Peg’s took a while (I had forgotten how long mani/ pedis took). I would have had time to go get the keys made. Oh well, toward the end of my wait I got a call from Alyssa to review the mail that had been piling up.

His paintings are beautiful whatever though, and I’m just a bit sad that he’ll never paint a Frozen mural in his stunning style because I can imagine that would be truly breathtaking with all the ice and snow for the light to cast off.
