Dallas, Texas, United States adamsprincesPacking for a one-month trip overseas in generally one climate came quite easy after having to utilize the same packing gear for a trip 6x as long and with many varied climates earlier this year. With my 70-liter pack and a daypack fully loaded, and with two suitcases full of food, clothing and the like requested by my friends at ACA in India in tow, I was ready to head off to Bangalore via London!

Arlington, Texas, United States socks... Dallas Cowboy Stadium is $1.4 billion (2x Indy Football Stadium) of which $400 million was the Trinitron.

Because the Dallas Cowboys have been so successful and popular, they are often called "America’s Team". The famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are partly to thank for this. Pictures inside their lockers are attached. In addition, this will be the venue for the college Cotton Bowl football game for the next 13 years.
Arlington, Texas, United States socksOur worse day of travel so far. Started out in Oklahoma City with light rain - a straight shot south on I-35 into Ft Worth, Texas. On our way we encounted heavy rain and high winds. We counted at least 5 major accidents, cars and tractor trailers were all over the highway both in the median and off the edge of the road. Our total average speed was 45 MPH. Our drive was suppose to be a 3 hr drive; it took us 5 hrs.

Dallas, Texas, United States lisajagmin... We got to see the famous drive way to the ranch, the patio with the glass table and walk out on to the balcony off of J.R.'s room. And in the background, the theme song playing. Very reminiscent. Mom shot video of me walking up the stairs at the big staircase.
All in all, it seemed like a short day, but it really wasn't. Now back at the hotel after having a genuine Tex-Mex meal we will probably go sit in the hot tub.
Dallas, Texas, United States kayaker902... have totally not liked the location. The Termini section isn't terrible it is just like crowded, busy, loud, and the least attractive area in Rome. Of course if it was a gift like the condos I would have been totally happy but we were paying like 2600 for the week. A throat choking amount to be sure once I had seen the place. We ended the day eating early so we wouldn't have to go back into Rome that night. It was an exhausting day but wonderful, too.
Fort Worth, Texas, United States sbondAmerican Airlines nearly ruins my trip....my original flight which was supposed to leave at 10:10am never leaves the ground....at 11:45am...AA has another flight bound for Tokyo and because I have carry-on luggage only, I'm allowed to board the flight and make it to Tokyo with 40 minutes to change planes and airlines ( Japan Air, they rock!!) . American Airlines...never again you *******s.
Dallas, Texas, United States rone_9In Dallas we found our connecting gate and grabbed some food. It is a good thing we did as
there was no food served on the flight to Miami. I made a couple of shots from the plane as we approached DFW.
