We started our day in Fort Worth at a nature reserve. We parked up at the visitors centre and started with a 1 mile walk. We immediately came across a couple of large spiders and heaps of different coloured dragonflies. Sam wasn't keen on the walk after seeing the spiders and knowing there might be snakes around. The walk itself was nice though. We came across 'Prairie Dog Town' which at the time we could only see about four of them from the fence ...

Peg had the T-bone with mushrooms and baked potato; I had the bone in Rib-Eye steak and backed potato. Wonderful food and service. This restaurant has been there since 1947.

We then went to Lowes and they ...

... and a stereotypical artist if you ask me, you can watch a full on documentary here: Thomas Kinkade: Painter of Light. His paintings are beautiful whatever though, and I’m just a bit sad that he’ll never paint a Frozen mural in his stunning style because I can imagine that would be truly breathtaking with all the ice and snow for the light to cast off. I digress, back to our visit!

As we walked back through the main plaza I noticed that same song was ...

To begin my spring adventure this year, I drove up to Fort Worth, TX to meet Kippy Massey, my guru of all things Texas. The Fort Worth Stockyards Historic District had been on my bucket list for a while and Kippy was kind enough to take a day out of her busy life to drive over and join me there. On the north end of the modern ...
