OK we have done the final gather of "stuff"....from spatulas to spare batterys and have the Honda Oddessey preliminarily packed for the big adventure! We start tomorrow after Tom works the morning and Maria gets home from a half day of school. We can't wait!

... raining until we decided to stop and rest of the night at Fort Wayne (Indiana). Not much of a nice place, especially with the strippers club next to the hotel and the people walking around the hotel. Sufficient to say this ain't no Ohio Amish country any more! What we did find next to the hotel was a Barnes & Noble book store and finally managed to buy some good books to read, including a couple of Bill Bryson ones recommended by Veronika's friend Anne.

The Artemis has rooms set up in an Apartment style...each has a bathroom, kitchen, one or two bedrooms, a living room, and balconies! We headed out of the city at about 2:00 and made it to a campsite in Indiana near Fort Wayne. The highlight of the evening was when we decided to bring the laptop into the tent to watch some 'That 70's Show'!
