    We got up at 2:30 in the morning to start our EPIC road trip of a lifetime! Then we hit the road at 3:15 and it was smooth sailing to Chicago. Annalena had no problem sleeping for the majority of the drive, and the rest of the time she was happy and excited to be in the car. It was a great start to our trip.

    ... teacher from the Ann Arbor Zen Buddhist temple. It was only $1, so I grabbed it...as we were heading out the door to the car, Kim glanced at the book and started laughing...she said she had just donated some books to the library and that was one of them!

    End of another week and a beautiful RV park to relax in a little bit for the weekend. And we get to visit my brother, his girlfriend, her parents, and my mom on Sunday in Ann Arbor too! I can't wait!

    ... there was a tree with dummies hanging of it with a plaque underneath. Very interesting way to kick the dummy habit. Then we went into Northville town and checked out these cute little fairy doors in lots of the shop windows, which Shannon's 4 yr old daughter Kendall just loved. It's a unique thing about Northville plus because of Halloween they also have all these skeletons around town. Watched a Halloween dance group and of course used Michael Jackson's Thriller.
