... the City centre and drove up Vine Street into a funky part of town where we parked and got out and strolled to visit various art shops, bistros, a pottery shop and some funky boutiques. A giant Christma tree is set up in the centre of the city along with an ice skating rink. We stopped in at A Tavola a very nice bar and Trattoria where we enjoyed a pizza together. Fun place.

The centre of the city is sprinkled with the most amazing art murals. ...

Carol picked us up at Ady's house around 1:30 p.m. for our direct flight to LAX. She had made us some of her delicious chocolate chip cookies which we very much enjoyed along our journey.


During the flight, we watched movies, read and played games until our arrival around 5:50 p.m. We took a shuttle to our hotel in San Pedro, a Best Western.
