... lunch, between storms, we managed 2 geocaches and then on the way back from the last one, I almost stepped on a snake. It turns out the snake was hopelessly stuck in a fishing net. Dex decided to save it and I reluctantly helped. With a good bit of difficulty and fear, we finally freed the snake. I just hope the good deed will come in handy some day if we encounter another less helpless snake!

Out early for a 45 minute ride to ...
... got longer because of slow and stationary traffic along the way , the only highlight being popcorn chicken at KFC during refuelling. Anyway arrived Lumber river late afternoon so no time for that canoe trip.( for which I was truly thankful , I have two great fears , sharks and crocodiles ) Lovely site beside the river sorrounded by trees and mangroves with Spanish beard hanging from the branches . ... the challenges of the local 'mini golf' courses. They are mini-golf courses like nothing we've ever seen before. One even has a volcano (about 25 feet high) that spews out pink water (simulated lava)!
Oh and I also spotted an alligator in the golf course lake just outside our condo this morning …
