Camping again on the banks of the Lumber river.

... the challenges of the local 'mini golf' courses. They are mini-golf courses like nothing we've ever seen before. One even has a volcano (about 25 feet high) that spews out pink water (simulated lava)!
Oh and I also spotted an alligator in the golf course lake just outside our condo this morning …

... it as far as Lumberton, NC, which is about 11 miles from the SC border today. 6 1/2 hours on the road, which is plenty for me. It was a beautiful drive today, but I am glad I was not on I-95 northbound. The north lanes were bumper to bumper slow almost all the way. Good to be going South.
... motorcycles are gorgeous, but enough is enough!!! Our only purchase today were two new oil plugs, a gasket and primary fluid for when we change the oil and primary in Missouri.
A leisurely meal at Olive Garden and we are off into a beautiful sunset for a post-prandrial drive to Asheville, NC. We shut it down for the night around 8:00 pm. A few rain showers, but all tucked in after 296 miles. The roads did not ...
