        Going to Clayton State Park to look at dinosaur foot prints! Noticing the sights on the road: huge masses of land, old buildings and road side towns stuck in time, huge pylons stretching as far as the eye can see, windmills, oil rigs, massive freight trains - longer than I have ever seen, cows, bisen, horses, strange roadside art at times and weird looking stores, 75mph speed limits, hay bails, huge storage containers, water containers on stilts ...

        ... as we saw a road runner :-). The road runner was small and ran on the road, then flew in the tree and ran up the branch when I scared it trying to take a photo. Cool. Saw a park ranger and he confirmed the coyotes!!! Also cool - they were so far away... Also saw a raccoon in the night when needing the bathroom. What so amazing is that I can hearths wind coming through the trees before I see it! Enjoying doing outdoor stretches and yoga. So ...

        Back to earth?????

        ... we'll be leaving quite early to stay out of the heat of the day. No pictures today as it was mostly flat for miles and miles/ rangeing from farmland to Texas hill country to some desert like plains.         ... temp was 99! It's now 101 as I write this and the wind is blowing across this crazy odd landscape at high speed. Dinner, I think, will consist of's too darn hot to cook!
