... around. We had one and a half spare days left in Arizona so we checked the map to see where else we could go and decided to go to LA spontaneously. Just some kilometers before we reached LA we stopped for sleeping at a side road between a waste disposal facility and a church. The next morning we had a chat with a guy at a gas station who gave us a magazine - he was apparently someone of Jehovah's Witnesses. In LA we did the standard program: Hollywood sign in ...

... Saturday special, beef ribs. There was a massive group of men eating at another table. At first we thought it was a gay club, by the way they were acting. Then in the bathroom, a member told me It's a secret society Cocksman club. I googled it. It's a club dedicated to Condoms. What the hell?! Seriously, WHAT THE HELL!

... seems to have the upper hand when it comes to the weather, but there are only a couple of beaches along this stretch that you can actually access to swim at which is a shame. The price of food and drink is also laughable, and the service not quite what we're used to, but we still stopped on the way back for a drink at a cafe with a terrace overlooking the sea. We made it back to the campground just before sunset and enjoyed red wine and crisps on the cliff top above the beach. It was nice ...

Woke up around 7:30 and got organized to go to Universal studios. I wasn't feeling very well so we changed our day and bought tickets on the hop on hop off bus that take you all around the sight, we went to Santa Monica pier, Venice Beach, rodeo drive and so on. Again we didn't think it was all that impressive and started to head back to our accommodation, it took nearly 3 hours to get back as we had to keep changing ...
