The second leg of the bus tour went into a bit more detail, talking about the big quake in 1909 and how the mayor set dynamite to an entire section of the city to create a firebreak after the fires had raged out of control for three days! Multiple Lycra clad cyclists were trying to race their way across the bridge and getting frustrated with all the tourists. ... we had a lovely breakfast with John choosing the scrambled egg special and I had the Salmon and Poached eggs Benedict. We then walked down Powell Street to he Walgreen store and I purchased a couple of ice packs and John got some more sinus tablets. It was then off to Stockton street and the Apple store as my iPad is not being charged by my cable. Luckily I was able to get a replacement cable easily ...
