... and the Bellagio hotel bleary eyed to be met by a lobby area full to the brim of slot machines, blackjack tables, and roulette. A big assault on the senses.
We had a quick walk around the hotel to work out where the pool was for tomorrow, then had a snack and went to bed, ready to hit Las Vegas properly in the morning.
... And got jelly legs when I got off! Freemont Street was our evening destination! And OMG! We thought we've seen it all on the Strip, how wrong we were! All sorts of crazy, random, loopy individuals are here. Including Elvis, Spiderman, hookers, chippendales, and more, many more! I was amazed by the massive screen roof, where they play music concerts in the evening! We had great dinner at a little place called Park, which Si was recommended! ... alcoholism and drug problems here. There was real poverty and loads of overt mental health problems. It’s not a great place to be if things aren’t going well for you. A bit sad really we thought.
But we were here for three nights. We booked into a ****** motel by the Elvis Wedding Chapel and over the next 2 days we walked the strip and checked out the madness that is Las Vegas.

night are awesome and the spectacle of displays like New York and the
Grand hotels are amazing. The Bellagio Fountain and Mirage Volcano
