Drove straight up to Maggie and Brian's cottage in northern Vermont. Sun shining brightly but deceptively - it was 4deg. What I would later reflect is that in a crisis rather than banding together we all screamed and blamed each other! When we finally drifted up to the other side of the lake Freddie and I were able to get out and clamber barefoot up the bank (our flip flops were on the jetty!) In the process I managed ...

... 160; Eventually she got over it and then we felt comfortable introducing her to George.  She smart, it only took her 10 seconds or so to realize he's NOT a real dog. The cat, on the other hand, had an anxiety attack, followed by attacking George with his claws - right across the muzzle.  Oh dear... So there you have it - 28 nights, 15 hotels, 52 restaurants and 14 gas fill ups later - our Travels with George have come to THE ...
