... a great lunch at Simms .On our way to Texas, the three Malvern, Pa. residents couldn't help but stop and see Malvern, Arkansas! Councilman Becker needed to compare town's facilities. From there, we headed to our stop for the night, right outside of Dallas. An extra bonus... dinner was (NOT Texas bar b que or ribs)-but terrific German brats and sauerkraut! A nice ...
We have finally arrived in Little Rock, AR. Route 40 west going into Little Rock was a nightmare but we are one of the lucky ones. We passed at least ten vehicles on the side of the road with flashers on, because of flat tires. The roads are horrendous here. We feel like astronauts trying to circumnavigate the moon. Amazingly he bought it when he was 21 and stayed there, it's not far back from the road and has other old houses behind. Inside it got weirder, it's all 70s but really tacky, some rooms lots of mirrors, the jungle room completely carpeted - ceiling too. You're not allowed upstairs to the bedrooms although you could see his parents bedroom on the ...
