So now we are in Fort Worth. We have a comfortable suite at the Navy Gateway Inn and Suites at NAS Fort Worth (formerly Carswell AFB). We found a barbecue place for supper after we checked in - Dickey's Pit Barbecue. The food was good and plentiful, though a little more informally served than one would expect for the price.

Yesterday we drove up to Mineral Wells, TX with mom & dad. The main objective was to visit Clark Gardens. We did accomplish that today, but not as good as I had hoped. It rained this morning and the trails were muddy, although the sun was out by the time we arrived, and it was difficult for daddy to walk them.
