Next up there was a daytime visit to Billy Bob's honky tonk. (honky tonk = bar and dance hall with music, usually country music) Much quieter daytime, but we could see the pics of well known artists who have performed there. Weather good again, low 80's.

After the cattle drive Kippy treated me to lunch at Joe T Garcia's, a Fort Worth icon. The Garcia's started this place in the 1930's in a tiny storefront that seated a dozen or so. Over the years it's expanded until it fills most of a city block! We had their traditional family style enchilada lunch, with platters of rice, beans, guacamole, etc. to heap on top.

Today is our last day in Texas for quite awhile. We will stop in Oklahoma for the day to see my grandparents and then off to Chicago for the next 13 days until we fly out to San Diego.
