... Rebel T2i DSLR with two lenses (55mm and 300mm)

  • Lots of ziplock and plastic bags. I lined the inside of my backpack with a large kitchen trash bag.
  • I'm sure I left some things out. But all told, I was carrying 30 pounds in my backpack and I was trying to make every ounce count. I always overpack for my trips so I think this was the lightest I've ever packed for a vacation. I also brought a medium size luggage which I checked in for ...

Ironically enough, we ended up boarding exactly the same plane we had flown ...

... through security. Our arguments were futile. Praise Jah we had plenty of time. It was the first time I've ever had to exit and return through security at a connection.
South African Airways is the second classiest African airline, just after Ethiopian. They had some great shows, movies and games that kept me up when I should have been working on jet lag. We would soon be in ...

We had a great morning visiting downtown Philadelphia. We went the Freedom Hall and the new Independence Center.

Around 2:30, we headed to Warrenton, VA. We are meeting up with Sarah, Sean, and Dani tomorrow. They got Sheila a "sky diving" trip out of Warrenton scheduled for Sunday. Sarah is going to jump with her. Then, we are all going to do some sampling of the local wineries.
