On the original schedule, my day was Little Rock to Charlotte, then to Norfolk and back to Charlotte, then to Albany. We were supposed to be at the airport at 8:00 this morning to head to Charlotte again but the captain called me about 7:00 and said that they changed it to 11:00 so I went back to bed for a little bit. We got to the airport about 11:00 and the gate agent told us we ...

Today the original schedule was leaving Savannah back to Charlotte then to Little Rock getting there about 10:30 and we were done. I was going to walk to the capital building and do a tour of it. But that plan went right out the window with the winter storm that rolled in.

There are only 2 gates, maybe 3 but I think there are only 2. They don't have a jetway so to get on and off the plane, you go up and down the stairs on the plane. So everyone was off the plane and we were waiting for them to roll a ramp to the airplane so they could bring a wheelchair up to get the 2 ...

It was back to the University of North Carolina this morning for a tour of the Carolina Basketball Museum. This is the University that Michael Jordan attended, and there were some of the original coaches notes, as well as MJ's letter of offer to attend the Uni. Just like Duke, UNC take a lot of pride in their basketball history, with memorabilia dating back a long way. We then travelled 240km to Jacksonville, NC for the VG ...

06/08/18 From Vickie: For some reason, today seems to have been the most difficult day of riding for me so far. True, each day does find me a little stronger and a more capable rider, but as we were walking up to the campground shower facility this evening, I confided to Jim that I had pedaled most of the day from my "go mode" setting. First problem of the day; we started the day in slightly overcast and wet conditions. I do not clip into the pedals or use toe straps, ...
