Not a whole lot to share for today. We both went to work for most of the day and got on the road about 5 PM for a 4 hour drive to Thomasville, GA, where we spent the night with some friends. We had not seen the NeSmith's in a couple years so it was great to spend some time with them even though it was short. It's incredible how fast kids can start playing with other kids they've never met and act like they've known each other for years in no time at all.

Then I had three hours to kill. That's when I got tired! Think I fell asleep on the San Fran to Charlotte ...

On Monday morning we closed our laptops. The weeks of researching farms and distilleries were soon to come into practice as we hit the road for Dixie, Georgia to find Thompson's farm, specialising in pigs and most importantly: bacon. A little nervous that this was going to be the first time filming and taking photographs I was more than a bit apprehensive as we pulled into the farm to be greeted by Andrew Thompson. After meeting him it ...
