Our only activity today was an attempt to get the suitcases fuller before we head home in three weeks. We went to many stores over 6 hours and didn't get much at all, despite trying on lots of clothes. The day was pretty warm but it got overcast so the day was comfortable despite being in the late 80s. For lunch we had Taco Bell and for dinner we had ...
First stop today was a visit to the Nature Bridge caves just out of Schertz. We decided to take both tours into the two separate caves. The two caves sit at constant 72f but with 99% humidity the temperature feels more like 80-85f, so as warm as outside the cave. Both tours were 70 mins in length. ... too. We decide to forget the bus and go on the Riverside Walk, I think the $40 we paid wasn't at all good value as it was just a recorded guide and you could really have just seen everything yourself on the very frequent city buses or just walked- definitely not like the trolley tours. It was a long hot (28deg) walk along the river & then back to the car at the hotel, where kids were in the pool (must have been cold), so quickly changed ...
