The plan is to move to a state park while it rains over the next few days to avoid getting stuck in the mud at Peace River. Short trip to Highlands Hammock State Park in Sebring. Got a little lost, found the park by accident, holy small roads and low trees, have to be careful. Wound up on a dead end road in the park so we have to disconnect the car and turn the rig around, haha. JD did it, found our site, low trees, barely cleared it, what a ...

We have also discovered that the cold weather and lack ...

Monday 7th August Another 5 hour flight with American airlines, hence no food and no entertainment (unless you buy earphones). They may as well paint themselves orange and call themselves EasyAmerica. No car upgrade this time around, and after battling the language barrier (Spanish seems to be the 1st language in Miami airport) we picked up a Chevvy Cobalt. Perhaps the oddest sounding car I have ever been in. If Ferrari mae an electric car, it ...

... time that had a boardwalk along the water. This was ages ago because my son was still in elementary school. This little place had shrimp boats, sponge boats and sightseeing boats at the marina. There were neat old touristy type stores along the boardwalk. I remembered nice restaurants overlooking the water which would be a great place to watch the sunset. The only name I could think of for this tourist mecca was Ybor City. So, I looked it up on ...
