... office sent maintenance right over, and they repaired it, so we didn't have to move sites. Mia is out of surgery and in ICU. We had a good report from the surgeon. In his words, her heart is "normal" now. A little bump in recovery when she had an allergic reaction to some medication they gave her in OR so they had to leave breathing tube in longer than ...

... partier. !  I looked up at the last wedding we attended and she was out on the floor attempting to line dance! She's also taken many pokes and prods from lots of doctors at TCH (thank you, God, for putting Mia in a place where she has access to such awesome doctors and nurses).  She's been under anesthesia ( down at TCH due to her heart condition) to have 4 teeth pulled,  1 tooth capped, and 2 fillings (no dental visits  for 11 ...

... Pass. Beautiful sunny day. Took off on Rt. 35 north, took a few side trips through some of the coastal towns, Rockport, Port Lavaca, Port Comfort. Lots of undeveloped territory further north. Arrived in Fulshear, TX at Gene and Trudy's beautiful home. Spent the afternoon getting reacquainted, had dinner at Roper's, the local "general store/cowboy bar/restaurant". Jane said it was one of the best meals she has had in two weeks.
