Well I have a confession to make first off. I woke up at 5:30 this morning with a bad feeling, something was definitely off and I couldn't get back to sleep. It was so good to finally meet Cindy's family (after almost 30 years!). Nice clan. I might have to visit them again...
I head out in the a.m. for Santa Rosa, New Mexico where I will spend the night.

Got back to the house and Cindy dragged out some old photo albums to jog my fading memory of places we went to when we were in high school. God, we looked SO YOUNG! Where has the time gone? Up until after midnight reminiscing. What fun we had...and what secrets we kept!
Cindy took Friday off from work so we could catch-up.

... and truck drivers used the road so maybe everyone just ignores those signs? Who knows. There are a lot of difffences in the driving from NZ to USA. One most notceable one is that there doesnt seem to be a requitement for motorcyclists to wear helmets. Some do, but unless it is a state by state law it seems to be choice. It is strange but quiet cool to see groups of bikies along the roads, long hair flowing in the wind. It must be warm ...
