We began our day at the JM Davis Gun Museum in Claremore. It is the largest privately owned gun collection in the world. The boys loved looking at the weapons but 50,000 was overwhelming!
We traveled on Old Route 66 to our next stop at the Blue Whale. It was formerly in a swimming lake.
Moving on we stopped for a picture at the Arcadia Round Barn.

By 6PM we stopped our reorganizing and realized we'd not eaten all day; we'd not even sat down since we exited the coach. Whew! This traveling stuff is tiring work! Then John said, "Hey Hon, I know what we should do tonight," he said with a wink...
All in all, we had a wonderful trip...and we are glad to be back home!!

Followed Aunt Roberta and Uncle Darrell to their home where we plan to spend the night. Beautiful house and grounds, but a very curved road to get there. Visiting now, and looking at old family ...
... and Internet access are going to be very limited. The AT&T map shows access in about 3% of the state at BEST. So - - -we will do our absolute best!
Will post from Seattle!! Oklahoma and Texas friends - be careful with the crazy weather while we are gone. Tornado season is rocking. As for us - it will be 30's to 60's where we are going. So we will be bundling up!
