    The proximity yo the Punta Gorda airport made this a terrific place to stay? Hotel was VERY clean and the continental breakfast was good.

    ... The number of Alligators we saw was amazing, from 8 inches long to 12 feet long. I stopped counting them when I hit 60! It was very cool. There are many boardwalks that allow you to really get close up views of the gators, plus all of species fish and the incredible diving birds, the Anhinga and Cormorant. So fun to watch.
