We left the big I75 motorway just after Orlando and took a slower route , countryside , passing through another Bartow (had already been to one where E & D’s farm interest is in Georgia). Many Lakes in the centre and land just so flat , Fenced and good farm land with a small amount of farm animals .

We are in Garry and Jan's "granny flat" right across the pool from the main house. It's an ex big double garage converted to a 2 bedroom flat with all mod cons. ... just surf' rolling in from the Atlantic, the water temp amazingly about 30c in the afternoon, (I didn't try it in the morning) and a lifeguard on duty 10 to 5 daily. The lifeguard has a shrill whistle which he blows repeatedly while beckoning with a flag at those who get too far out for his liking. We did see one guard go running off along the beach with rescue tube in hand one day but he returned soon dry, so tragedy averted!
