          This building is a replica built in 1940 but the Courthouse was
          reconstructed on the original site and both Lewis and Clark would have spent

          ... the highest man made monument in the US is located in St Louis. Called the "Gateway", it celebrates the Westward expansion of the United States.
          The Gateway is an amazing looking monument. 192m high, it was first conceived in the early 30's and finally built in the 60's.
          We had a good look through the museum located below the arch and then took a cable capsule to the top of the arch... Quite a view !
