... Highway, LA bound once again. Less exciting was getting stuck in the infamous LA traffic for a couple of hours, but by the evening all was forgotten as we made it to the hotel and all caught up. Taking the car back in the evening was a sad affair, saying goodbye to the beast after nearly 4000 miles!

The four of us decided to get straight into the action and the following day was spent at Disneyland, which was incredible! The day was jam packed, with the first ride ...

... hub for military facilities during World War Two. There're were times during our short stay there when you could still here the roar of a fighter planes jet engine passing overhead which must have been launched from the local marine base we had driven by on the way into to town. We were lucky we didn't get wet but the people in the seats up a bit and right in front of us got soaked. WOW we were so lucky. Then we had to leave and get back to our hotel and catch a bus to Anaheim Disneyland. The bus trip felt really quick. I fell asleep at the start and dad woke me up when were at the hotel. Best day ...

... and it was actually pretty cool, but this was our last day before heading home and we were pretty worn out. And again, we seemed to get there just as things were winding down for the day. Found a restaurant and had a nice meal and watched a pow-wow (there is probably a correct term - maybe it was a rain dance they were doing?) thru the window of the restaurant.

After that, it was back to ...

... bird! There was something Neanderthal about it! (Tasty though!)

Penguins and sharks later, it was time for a show. Now this one was quite different to the show we saw at the Gold Coast Seaworld, because as well as the dolphins doing their thing, we had people (dressed as birds) doing fancy aerial acrobatics and diving! They were dressed as birds because every now and again, birds would come skimming down over our heads to the stage. I think we were meant to use ...
