... but the days warm up sufficiently. Since our next destination is the Florida Panhandle region, we decide to slow down our northern momentum a bit and choose to stay at this site for two weeks enjoying and sharing our explorations on the blog.

... no one else at our gate! We quickly realized that the gate had been changed and was now on the other end of the terminal, luckily we had enough time to spare and made it to the gate as the boarding began. ... impressive. It started raining at about 11 and didn't really stop for the rest of the day. This did mean that the park was quite empty, so we didn't have to queue for long on any of the rides, but after the water rides (where you get absolutely drenched!) we didn't dry off all day. ... 160; Tuesday we drove with Billy & Susan through South Daytona, Daytona and Ormond Beach and stopped at Flagger Beach to visit one of our son's friend Shera and her son Joseph. We had just been to Bulow Creek State Park to see all the large live oak trees. Some of the live oak trees are over 200 years old. When we were there one morning we saw at the dock about 30 manatees at one time. The video above (click on it) and pictures below show a lot of action (if you can call any movement of a manatee action). We enjoyed our stay.
Also, we saw a launch of a Space X craft which was carrying a satellite into orbit from Cape Canaveral. Since it was so far away the pictures did not come out very good but it looked better to the naked eye.
