A much more reasonable start time of 9am this morning. Kids got chosen to participate in Jedi knight star wars training show which they loved! Got some great photos of them using light sabers to fight dearth vader. I took my first roller coaster ride (a quite tame one... The go go gadget coaster, but all the same I'm proud of myself for being a risk taker!) jazzy and watched the Fantasmic show at 7:30pm which was ...

... of people call home. Whole families and communities are here on the side of the road with their belongings and not a lot else. It's really strange and really, really sad to see. It's just such a weird proximity to the expensive part of town, it's not on the outskirts at all.

Continuing our new found interest in ice hockey, we went to see the Anaheim Ducks, the local hockey team, play the San Jose Sharks. considering San Jose is in the same state, and really not far ...

... amazing. Photos do not do it justice, but it was exactly like we had stepped straight into the movie. Such attention to detail from every Cars movie location. The ride itself was exceptional, and well worth the 45 minute wait. After cruising through several scenes from the movie involving all the main characters (in a full size slot car) we then raced another vehicle through sweeping bends and over rolling hills at high speed. Magnificent. The ...

... This was great and we saw characters from Toy Story, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo and other Pixar movies.... Mrs Incredible's bum looked excellent as always, the floats were cool (but then, Disney always know how to put on a parade), and we got sprayed with water several times! We then went to the 6.20pm showing of Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular – also in Hollywood Land.

Aladdin – for me – was a bit of a mixed bag. The Genie was hilarious, and it ...

... at nine, so 10 minutes before nine we lined up to go on Space Mountain
one last time and because we were in line we still got to go on the ride even
after nine. After going on the ride we still had time to do some shopping,
    which was nice.

    I really loved
watching the nightly parades at both parks. I would highly recommend it to
everyone. They are not too long, but it gives you a chance to take a rest and
see any characters that you may have ...
