So far, we are having a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The room is a very nice size, has a great view, and you can tell that it was recently renovated. The only complaint so far is that the elevator is very slow and around a corner that made it difficult to maneuver the luggage carts.

For the summer, they have free pancakes in the evenings from 8pm to midnight. It made fo a nice snack tonight.

We officially made it through our first night of the trip! After our late start yesterday we drove 9 hours up to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We found a well lit rest stop that of course had a No Camping and No Overnight Parking sign. However, we decided to stop anyway and take a chance. We were getting pretty tired and the lights on the ...

... nice little park with a picnic shelter...we got our food out, sat down in a totally empty shelter with 7 large picnic tables and these three people came and sat right beside if the place was full...interesting. They weren't there to talk to us...just to eat...but they had all these choices...what the heck! And so, what next!!!! Our neighbour just texted us to say that someone stole my brother in law's motorcycle out of our backyard and left the big gate opened. The bike ...
