    Mitch and I left for Crooked Creek Parking parking lot, Yellowwood State Forest, after work to drop my car off at the end of the trail, well 2 miles shy of the end. We got to Morgan-Monroe State Forest around 8:00 PM and setup camp at the campground. We were the only campers that night and was fortunately the only night we had rain.

    There were no detours today but today was probably the worst hiking day due to all the roads and my knee and foot hurting. The end of the trail, 2 miles out from the car and 2 miles back, was well worth the trip. The end may even be a good starting point to camp at and start off from on our next pass thru.     ... did not exist. We got to camp around 5:30 PM and did not have time for a camp fire. My spoon had broken the night before, thanks Mitch, so I had to borrow one from Ryan. The three of us fit into the the three man tent nicely and without any major issues.

    ... hike. We stopped at Bear Creek Lake for our lunch but found it too windy and cold to stay too long. The water their didn't look very appetizing so we decided to move ahead and find water elsewhere. The perfect resting and water fill creek was found at mark #7 on the Hoosier Hiking Councils map. We saw many other creeks that entire day but not as nice as this one.
