Today we visited Lake Bistineau State Park in Shreveport. It was quite a sight. All the trees were under water. We bought granola bars and gatorades. It costed $15. We filled up the tank for $34.85. We stayed the night in a hotel costing $129.00. Next its off to Mississippi.

Notes from home is that you lost power so our furnace is still not fixed but supposed to be there tomorrow, be glad when that's done so we don't have to worry about it. Feel kind of powerless when so far from home.

We drove about 400 miles today. A little further than we had wanted, but we relaxed when we arrived. We are in a very nice RV park, Arkadelphia RV Park. We have driven through much farmland. Soybeans, corn and now some cotton fields. Farmers are praying for dry weather and wind to dry out their fields.
