Finally made it to Damascus! It feels nice to be in Virginia! I can't believe I've been on the trail for over a month, it feels like yesterday I was on top of Springer Mountain. Still having a blast out here, however the weather has started to get rainy. ... each hour on the hour but the unusually cold and snowy conditions closed the track the day we were there. It was too treacherous with the ice and snow to safely get around. We drove around the track trying to find an open gate to take some pics of the track but to no avail.
It has been 4 days since i have posted because i have been helping my friend Donnie with a tile job. He is a great worker and can do almost anything when it comes to building something. We went to a restaurant called purple cow, and it was free because he payed for my lunch because I am helping him with a tile job. Then he drove me back to Allison house then we went to a new years party at a friends named Conner. We stayed up all night then came to Allisons house and went to sleep.
This is our first blog entry. This summer we'll be doing a lot of traveling and wanted everyone to be able to keep up with us! We want to make it from Orlando to Boston this year traveling a total of over 8,000 miles. That's more than the diameter of the earth! Who knows what surprises we'll find along the way!
